From efa924f66b183d9cf2404ce91c4f009c27e0515a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: James McCoy Date: Mon, 18 Oct 2021 09:08:46 -0400 Subject: vim-patch:8.1.0743: giving error messages is not flexible Problem: Giving error messages is not flexible. Solution: Add semsg(). Change argument from "char_u *" to "char *", also for msg() and get rid of most MSG macros. (Ozaki Kiichi, closes vim/vim#3302) Also make emsg() accept a "char *" argument. Get rid of an enormous number of type casts. https://github.com/vim/vim/commit/f9e3e09fdc93be9f0d47afbc6c7df1188c2a5a0d --- src/nvim/viml/parser/expressions.h | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src/nvim/viml/parser/expressions.h') diff --git a/src/nvim/viml/parser/expressions.h b/src/nvim/viml/parser/expressions.h index 325df643e7..fe9327b27d 100644 --- a/src/nvim/viml/parser/expressions.h +++ b/src/nvim/viml/parser/expressions.h @@ -361,7 +361,7 @@ typedef struct { typedef struct { /// When AST is not correct this message will be printed. /// - /// Uses `emsgf(msg, arg_len, arg);`, `msg` is assumed to contain only `%.*s`. + /// Uses `semsg(msg, arg_len, arg);`, `msg` is assumed to contain only `%.*s`.
