ci: preserve the runtime file list for install checks #41843
Problem:
Linux jobs remove .git before the install check calls git ls-files.
The command fails and the loop silently skips all runtime files.
Solution:
Save the tracked file list before removing .git and read it during the
install check. Use NUL delimiters to preserve filenames.
